My fascination for car audio started at a very young age. In 1988 I enrolled in Nanyang School of Electronics to pursue my interest. Armed with a diploma, I landed a job as an apprentice in car accessories. I learned the trade a  huge passion for perfection. For further knowledge, I attended various courses on improving my skills for car audio at the same time started and managed KK Lau Car Audio Specialist.  My burning desire to continue my quest for perfection has resulted in winning various Pro & amateur  car audio championships up to international levels. Even after winning numerous championship and awards, the passion kept burning as I felt that I am not complete enough to understand the full car audio cycle. I went on to polish my listening skills and became a car audio competition judge. Now I’m an experienced & qualified International IASCA and USACi judge in SQ (sound quality) & SPL (sound presure level). I’m also the pioneer and qualified DTS5:1 judge in Malaysia. Besides Malaysia, I have judge internationally in various countries like China, Thailand & Indonesia. With my experienced ear and my know-how, hopefully, i can  give good advise and recommendations to competitors or sound enthusiasts. Apart from car audio, I’m also an excellent fabricator specializing in custom fabrication using fiber class, MFB, steel or other materials that is needed to complete the custom fabrication. My works can be seen in various special projects notably The twin Sony Ericsson show vehicles.After many years of exploring, I felt that my experience and knowledge can be manifested into a range of car audio amplifiers and speakers called AULUX – Audio Luxury.
